Cheney WAS to mean, he's also wonderfully delusional, and a liar.
Cheney stuck to his guns, though. He still seems convinced that Bush had valid reasons for war, all the reasons he had originally give.
DESPITE, despite the report that came out yesterday, despite all the evidence to the contrary that came out before yesterday.
And what is Cheney and Bush saying about it?
That it STILL gives them validation for the war.
HOW IN THE HELL IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?
Their claim is false, it's always been false, and no amount of spindoctoring is going to change that.
Cheney lied about Halliburton, he damned himself during the debate in fact.
What's great about that though is he gave folks an incorrect website to prove his point, and the site he meant to give doesn't support him either.
Here's what I don't understand, well maybe I do: Nixon was impeached for his involvement with Watergate, spying on the Democrats. Clinton was impeached for the Lewinsky scandal (if I recall the main motivation for the impeachment was purgery, but that wasn't the only motivation). Bush led us into a war based on false data. An war the international community thinks it was an illegal action. And.... nothing.
Somethings wrong with this picture, really.
