tracing patterns in the winds

the clouds, full of themselves hanged heavily in the sky yesterday.
the wellsvilles to the south west looked as if they were bleeding away the summer.
thier heads crowned with clouds, and the sun kissed the blue tinted mountain sides through the clamor of rain.
the rain was a refreshing change.
today the sky is that painful blue i've come to expect on a daily basis. dotting the sky occassionaly a dirty white or grey from a stray cloud that seems to have lost it's way.
today feels low and lazy.
a beautiful angel occassionally putters up the stairs with a stack of books in her arm and a twinkle in her eye.
she's a refreshing site, and a welcome one.
the stacks of books around me seem inexhaustible, always growing at my absence, mocking me.
my life is hushed.
like the hush of a movie theatre right before the startling climatic moment.
ahhh the fall.

three fenders bended

so in the last twenty four hours i've been witness to three automobile accidents.
two were simple fender benders, one was a front end bender, trashed the car pretty good.
two of the accidents happened with in 35 minutes of each other, about 100 feet apart.

the first was south bound on logans main street. white 2 ton flat bed hit a little green car (don't ask me the make and model, as i rarely pay attention to such things) no damage to the car as far as i can tell, but the lady inside had apparently been complaining about neck pain. an officer and an ambulance were called to the scene.

then 35 minutes later, while the ambulance and the police officer were still dealing with that accident, not more than 100 feet away another accident occured. this one was going north bound, involved a little silver stationwagonesque car and it was smoooshed real good.
front end was trashed. i couldn't tell if anybody was hurt, but it didn't seem that way. though the woman driving the silver car was very upset.

this morning there was another one, fender bender, one block west from where these other two accidents occured.

incredulous.

it's another beautiful day today.
blue, painfully so, and green. most of the the trees haven't started changing colors down here in the valley, so they still remain painfully green.
the women still remain painfully beautiful too. like angels manifest amongst mortals, carrying the bright torch of beauty to their chests.
a sigh, and a shrug.

what have we done to deserve such lovely weather?
it's uncanny; an entire week of days that aren't hot, aren't too cool and with harldy a cloud in the sky.
wonderful.

i wish i had something more interesting to report.
still waiting paciently for the new laptop.
i'm getting rather ancy actually. i want to finish "fitzlephisch". i want to have another reading. i want to send a copy to the vegas folks for them to look at and/or possibly enjoy.
i've got two ten minutes to write that are fighting to get out of my head, plus another one act.
i did discover, though not too my surprise, that the stifling nature of logan, the things that frustrate me the most, and always seem to agravate me, are probably the catalyst for all the creativeness that has been going on the last year or so.
it's amazing what being choked with extreme dogma, and overbearingness will do to the creative juices.

rehearsals will start back up tonight after the weekend hiatus.
should finish blocking this week, two... three more days at the most.
then we'll see where we'll go from there, there hasn't been a rehearsal schedule or guide made or perhaps even planned; which is a first for me, i'm used to the directors having that information available.
all i can do really is trust that they know what they're doing, and i do.
still takes getting used to though.

i imagine ol' tom will be posting soon about the weekend hockey games.
sounds like we won (u.s.u that is, i didn't do shit to help win the game really).
beat b.y.u. soundly, in overtime at that.
though everything i just posted was hearsay, as i didn't actually go to the game, but hey tom why don't you post a little, lets find out more about how things actually went, both on and off the ice.
