Well, most of my stuff is gone.
Sister and bro-in-law, their 14 year old son and my mother came to Logan last Thursday and took a trailer load of stuff to Roosevelt: the rest of my books, bookshelves, couch, tables, several boxes of miscelanious things. I have about a truck load of stuff left to take. I still have a lot of stuff to go through though. Some of it will go in the garbage, others to the D.I. or friends who might want it. The res will be packed in boxes and loaded up on the 18th in anticipation of my depature the next day. There's honestly not much left to do with it. It looks daunting, but as I tinker with it today (and tonight) it's not nearly as bad as it looks.
My application for the potential job is off, i should know by the end of next week, or the middle of the week after next. I've got some hope.
I hope to be done with the packing by the end of the weekend. In fact, my independence day is going to be spent packing and sorting.
FUN!!
Hopefully I'll be able to watch a movie or some such tomorrow also. That would be a nice cap to the day.
It's a nice cap to any day.

Part of me is rather excited to be going... well, ok, not excited. But looking forward to going. There is, I hope, a certain peace to be found in Roosevelt. That's one of the many reasons I'm moving back.

After the packing is done, there's some cleaning to do.
I've no aspirations to get my deposit back. But I will do some cleaning none-the-less. I do know they are going to be doing some remodeling on this apartment after I leave. That inhibits my drive a little bit.
The next week will be a run of ten hour days at the book store, followed by evenings of, I hope seeing a few folks I've become friends with the past several years.

That's the plan.

Let's see if I stick to it.
