Saint Jimmy is my name, and don't wear it out.

So it's been a while.
What? A little over three months.
Feels like only about half that time has passed.
Crazy as that is.

The job I had hoped (and had a decent chance of getting) for, I didn't get.
My brother gave it to his son, because he was here, he was offered the job before I was, and, he honestly needed it more than me.
No harm. No foul.
It took about a week to get a job after I moved. Working at a convenience store.
My duties were to stock the cooler, do all the ordering for the cooler, and other miscellaneous tasks around the store.
I didn't mind the work really. There was only one real problem: I had to go in every day. Seven days a week. The hours varied though.
Weekends, it was only a few hours each day. During the week it would be between 5 and 7 hours. I was getting about 40 hours a week, but I had no real days off, or away.
It was getting tedious.
Then I got word that a grocery store, locally owned, was looking for work. I applied there, and after a couple of interviews, I got a job throwing freight. 40 hours a week, usually in the evenings or at night, overtime is paid fairly generously (though not always required). I like the folks I work with, and I'm losing a little weight, as throwing frieght is a fairly physical activity.
All and all a good choice. I've worked at the grocery store for as long as I worked at the convenience store now: six weeks.
I don't see myself quitting anytime soon.
Life is... reasonable.

I've been to Logan, earlier this month. For those of you I didn't see, well I'm sorry. I went up to surprise a buddy on his b-day, so I was trying to keep things on the down-low. I do plan to make another trip up, hopefully to see the Christmas Carol, though, maybe one sooner than that.

I've had two jobs, which I've detailed above, and I'm alright with where I'm at for the moment. I'm not particularly happy to be here, but I'm not drowning like I was in Logan, and that itself is something.
I've reconnected with friends from high school, which is actually really cool. I'm happy to hang out with them. Forgotten how fun they were to hang with honestly. I still miss my boys in Logan though. I need to get them all out here for some Fat Guy shenanigans, because, well, that would be awesome.

As for Roosevelt... I'll write about Roosevelt soon. Interesting little town.
How things are very different, but not really any different than the time before.
