I LIKE MY STUPID LIFE, JUST THE WAY IT IS AND I WOULDN'T EVEN TRADE IT FOR A THOUSAND FLYING PIGS.....

Hello everybody!

I hope everyone who reads the blog, and who is on my links and on the Cake had a glorious holiday.
I sure did.
What fabulous thing did I do?
I got out of town for a weekend and then some and now I'm back.
What did I do while I was gone?
Well I visited my family. Which was good as I hadn't seen many of them for some time.
I had the opportunity to see Sandman, which was kick ass!
I showed my mother Lord of the Rings, and to my surprise she did not dismiss it out of hand or get bored with it.
She watched all three extended edition films and liked them.
Over all a good bit of time off.
In additioning to visiting folks, I read a book and got a good chunk read on a second one.

I'm on a sci-fi kick (I never really leave it, just break from it regularly).
The book read was Frank Herbert's "The Godmakers".
Interesting book on the concept of god and belief, sadly it the last third feels rushed.
The second book, which I'm sure I will have finished by the end of the weekend is Larry Nivens 'Ringworld'.
That's a pretty kick ass concept in my opinion, a ring with a land mass 3 million times the earths rotating around the sun.
Ok, it sounds a little cheesy, but you think about how cool it is for a little while... you'll come around.

I also accomplished a little writing while I was gone.
That's nice, the play i'm working on is starting to take shape.
Too bad it's so foul and ill mannered.
Oh, well it makes me laugh.

Now for some end of year shout outs to everybody.

Let's start with Annette: Happy Marriage Annette!
Not much more can be said then that.

JayC and Erica, I hope you two lovelies are doing wonderfully, I'm so very much looking forward to you getting a computer again so I can harrass you via the internet.

Joel and Deanne... I'll be sending a CD your way in a couple of weeks. Joel, I want to see you post more, you to Deanne. You guys are freakn' awesome!

Teej, I'm going to give you the finger if you don't post man. I love you, I hope you're doing well, and who ever it is you're doing well, I hope they're happy.

Nick, dude what's up, you don't post, you don't call, you don't do nothing. Don't you love me anymore, all those tender moments we shared.... *weeping* and I thought you were my bitch Nick... *more weeping* my bitch.

Bruce, may the force be with you. Keep up that chin man, I love your posts, I think you're a hellava cool guy.

Gen, smile. I know, it's so very cliche to say, and it probably pisses you off to be told to do it. But I'm not telling you, I'm asking you. I enjoy your blog, and I'm glad you're part of the cake.

Katrina, Wyrd, Chudpie. Damn you're cool. Keep smiling Katy and be careful. I like the happy Katrina way more than the sad Katrina, if all of these guys you fall over hurt your feelings, let me know, I'll come down and give my 'speciality' (ask Teej and Joel about it).

Shawn, do you still read this, when you gonna post again man?

Kyle. I don't know you, you don't me. We've never met, but I've decided I like you anyway. Why? Cause you're damn funny. I hope you intend to be funny, because I laugh at most of you're blogs (not all, there are some that are serious). I hope I get the chance to hang out with you when next I journey south.

Guy I don't know. I think we met, I'm sure of it in fact. Though I'm really bad with names. I really dig on the poetry man, especially the last thing you've been working on. I hope you're able to finish it.

Sandman! Dude, it kicked ass hanging out with you. I'm sad I couldn't make it back in to see you on Tuesday. It was cool catching up on some old times like that. I think I'll take a day and mosey down and see Freston now, cause I know where he is. But I'll get back with you next time I'm in town.

Ryan Hall. What can I say man. You're cool. I'll talk with you soon.

Tiny. Post damn you! Post!

Stacia, you post too!

Where's Sherrie?

and finally... TOM!
Hey brother man, keep that chin up. Don't be too down, and remember... punch me in the gut and I'll kick your ass. (He'll kick your ass, he'll kick your ass).

Well my friends. Here's to a wonderful new year. I'll talk to you all in one form or another soon I'm sure.

I'VE NEVER BEEN LOST LIKE THIS, I'VE NEVER BEEN LOST LIKE THIS, BUT I WOULDN'T BE HAPPY ANYWHERE ELSE.
