ordo borbo papo

wow!
i mean....wah owh!
ok maybe not, maybe i don't mean either one.
after all they are just utterances we asign meaning too with in the context they're in.
verbal grunts at the very basic level of communication, when pulled out of the context in which they were first uttered have virtually no meaning or relationship to something meaningful.
but you can bet your ass, there's meaning behind it initially.
wow, has actually become fairly english universal, though notice how the meaning changes based on the context it's uttered in.
birthday present - WOW!
seeing a hot babe/dude for the first time - WOW!
(ok, those have similar meanings)
seeing some one get beat up - WOW!
finding out your cat just died - WOW!
the response is the same, but the emotional context is different.
it can be something indicating enthusiasm, disbelief, overwhelmingness, distraught, and it can even be used sarcastically to indicate unenthusiasm or apathy.
isn't language wonderful.

its starting to want to be fall.
it's not yet, the sun still hangs hot and heavey in the sky.
women (bless them all) are still wandering around in complimentary atire that the summer brings on.
beads of sweat still form on the forehead and cheek during the brink of a hot day.
but you can smell it.
fall that is, creeping up on the summer goddess like a cat hunting birds.
won't be long now, another week or two.
the nights are getting cooler.
the need for a warm blanket has become obvious, topping the thin sheet from before.
nope, won't be long now.

news on the computer front, well shouldn't be an issue.
i'm either going to fix the one i got, which won't be as expensive as i thought it might be, which is the most likely option.
or
i'm going to replace it, which probably won't happen for several or many months if i fix the old one....
so, it's about what you'd expect then.
i mean, you didn't expect me to tell you that i was going to eat it with brusselsprouts and cheese did you?
though that does sound good.
