Healthcare

Here is an argument for "universal healthcare" for the U.S.
I am a very big advocate for national healthcare because as the interviewee states (here paraphrased) "when you're concerned about making money, then you're not going to be as interested in providing really good care for sick people, or for people who might get sick."

Being a resident of Canada, I've always been an advocate of "socialized medicine" (as it's sometimes referred). Most people pay a reasonable monthly fee, but that fee can be waived depending on one's financial situation.

In the UK, everything's free! My aunt had to go to the hospital while we were there and they didn't even ask for her ID. They just checked her out, did some free tests and gave her a free prescription.

Perhaps the USA's first order of business should be gun control, THEN move onto Health Care.
