There's always turmoil and change.
That's the way the world works.
This is an election year, are all of you going to vote?
I plan to. Though I'm rather dismayed at my options.
I'm rather dismayed at the whole political system in general.
I don't know that if how things are working now are what our forefathers had in mind, I don't think so.
Though I don't have a time machine and I can't go back.
It seems like it has become more and more a popularity contest between two upper class men and thier supporters. Two upper clas white men.
But then, that's kind of the way it has always been.
Even so, not all of those who have ever run for office have started out upper class.
I sincerely believe though that the system needs to be changed.
I don't think it always has the interest of the American people in mind.
A country only exsist because of the people who make it up.
Canada just had thier elections, in a short few months we will have ours.
The system needs to be changed.
First and for most that change needs to take place at the polls.
Every dissatisfied American should go to the ballot box and voice his or her disatisfaction in the way the system is being run.
Protest the fact that big business still (despite the shallow attempts at campaign reform) has the canidates in thier pockets, then maybe, just maybe we can start to see a change.
Refuse the mudslinging.
Refuse the double dealing.
Refuse the circus.
But voice your opinion, research and put forth an effort.
Because despite the facade it's you and I who make this country what it is, and it's you and I that the Constitution was written for.
It's you and I that these canidates will represent.
I think sometimes they want you to forget that.
Too bad most of us have.
