a fleeting moment
a beautiful woman comes into the store.cold blue eyes that smile.
a smile that makes my knees shiver and my body melt.
she has on a ring, that i notice right away.
how could she not?
men would have been swarming to have her.
many may still be.
we talk. i make jokes, dry and sarcastic as always.
i notice her blonde hair frames her beautiful face, but mostly i notice that glint of appreciated humor in her eye.
she wanders about the store for a minute.
then disappears out the door, like an angel called back to heaven.
her ride is her.
a fleeting moment.
a beautiful woman.
