Snippitts of Illusions

once upon a time in the morgan.

part one down.
the first half of tech rehearsal that is.
tonight we do part two.
i don't know what went on for most of tech, i'm not on stage much, but i do know the first half of the show took 3 hours and 45 minutes to tech.
which all in all is somewhat surprising, i was expecting a much longer tech time.
the second half sees me going on stage not until the last half hour of ths how.
so tonight should be relatively boring until then.
then i fight, die, and lie in the middle of the stage for 15 minutes while macbeth fights both old and young siward, macduff, and malcolm takes the stage as the king.
yes, it's good to be a dead body.

so i've decided to audition for the lyric this summer.
i've weighed the decision carefully, and now i need to find a two suitable monologues, and to my dismay, a suitable song to audition with.
i've got three weeks to prepare, one week to turn in the application.
the overall factor prompting me to audition is the fact they are producing noises off this summer.
i'd like to do that show.
no more reason than that, well that and i enjoy acting.
my chances, are i feel, fairly slim.
but what the hell right, if you're going to swim you have to get wet.

speaking of getting wet... well nevermind that one.

it's strange, even though i have to work a majority of the week (save thursday and sunday) it feels like i have a week off.
i'm all at once estatic and at a loss.
i've had nights off here and there, partial nights off here and there.
but for the most part i've been occupied with rehearsals everyday of the week since the first part of september.
i'll go stir crazy.
can't imagine what the christmas holiday will do.
fortunantly i have reading, games, and memorization to keep me occupied through both stints.
not too mention movies.
so with all of that...
i hope you all have a good thanksgiving (assuming i don't get back to post again before thursday) and that your bellies are full.
